Telcom OSP Technical Specialist
Multiple States
In general, an OSP Technical Specialist will be responsible for the design, field notes, pricing, and drafting of both copper and fiber facilities. It should be noted that an OSP Technical Specialist candidate with prior experience is preferred, but not required.

We are in a period of growth and in search for a Billing Assistant to join our regional office located in Nephi, Utah.

OSP Technician

In general, a Mid-State Consultants OSP Technician will be expected to perform field work-type engineering and staking. This position will involve taking notes and drawing the routes where telecom facilities will be placed, which can be buried, underground, or aerial.
CAD Technician - IBEW Represented Company
On Site in Anchorage, Alaska/Mat-Su Valley
The CAD Technician will prepare CAD maps for telecommunications infrastructure projects. Projects include preparing designs, staking maps, as-built maps for Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) construction projects, and essential functions
OSP Engineer I - IBEW Represented Company
On Site in Anchorage, Alaska/Mat-Su Valley
The essential functions of an OSP Engineer I will include, but is not limited to:

Working on-site with the crews daily (in varied weather conditions)

Ensuring correct depths of facilities, placement, takes sequential numbers (numbers every two feet stamped into cabling), and that the correct number of pedestals/handholes, among other things, are installed and in the desired locations

Assisting in the establishment of schedules, co-ordination, monitoring of workflow, and assisting in the tracking of cost expenditures

Preparing reports, documents and maintaining project records

Resolving design and staking sheet problems in the field during construction and, when necessary, interpreting company guidelines for specific applications

Providing quality control to ensure construction/engineering standards/specifications are adhered to

Interacting with landowners, permit agencies, as well as other company departments

Director of OSP Engineer

Mid-State Consultants, a division of JSI, is seeking a Director of OSP Engineering. The Director is a critical leadership role that oversees Outside Plant Engineering Services to provide high-level quality control of the OSP services; this includes oversight of Plans & Specifications, construction documentation, and inspection services. This position will interface with the Design Services team, transitioning the high-level designs into detailed, engineered plans & specifications to construct OSP projects. The Director will oversee an organization comprised of managers, engineers, technicians, field residents, and inspectors to deliver a balanced engineered product, both in the office and in the field. Must manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously, define good quality control measures, and be responsible for each project's technical aspects.
Telecom OSP Inspectors

JSI is now seeking on behalf of its Mid-State Consultants division, several talented telecom Outside-Plant (OSP) Inspectors who possess a genuine interest in providing expert supervision of construction crews to ensure construction contractors are placing fiber optic cable according to the customer’s requests(buried, underground, aerial) and engineering work prints (staking sheets).
Telecom OSP Resident/Lead Inspectors

OSP Resident/Lead Inspector will be expected to be capable of engineering routine and specific outside plant work orders and providing field support to the outside plant work forces. You be required to be on premises for BAU (Business as Usual) field work-type engineering and staking. This position will involve taking notes and hand drawing the routes where telecom facilities will be placed, which can be buried, underground, or aerial.
Telecom Permit Agent

Candidate would assist a current team with the research and application process of completing and submitting permits with municipalities and other governing agencies for the placement of utilities for various clients of ours.
